About ASU Research Publications

Chain Reaction is written and designed to show how scientists and scholars explore the world. Written for middle school students, Chain Reaction articles demonstrate the fascinating way scientists and scholars create new knowledge.

ASU Research Magazine, born in the fall of 1985, keeps you informed of the interesting work conducted by Arizona State University scientists, engineers, and scholars. The staff of ASU Research Publications uses quality writing and dynamic graphics to convey the interesting variety of research and creative activity being conducted at ASU.

In 1992, funded by the Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Affairs, KAET-Channel 8 began producing ASU Research Review, a half-hour television version of ASU Research Magazine. Three stories from past issues are highlighted in 10-minute segments. Each production is aired twice during a one-week time period. Individual segments are then edited down to 5-minutes. These edited segments are aired as fillers following the "Horizon" news program every Wednesday evening.
